“Where Sustainability Meets Safety: ESG and Ergonomics in the Modern Workplace”
Presented by Kristian Witt and Ed Havey, M.S., CPE of Compliance Management International (CMI)

Thursday, November 19, 2026 | 12:00 PM
Hosted at CMI, 2750 Morris Road, Suite A101, Lansdale, PA 19446

Sustainability and workplace safety are often handled as separate programs, but they share the same goal: protecting people and helping the organization last. In this joint session, two CMI experts look at where Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and ergonomics overlap, and how bringing them together supports a more complete approach to employee well-being. Attendees will see how environmental responsibility and injury prevention can support each other, and leave with practical ideas for connecting the two in their own workplaces.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Explain how ESG initiatives and ergonomics programs intersect and support each other.
  2. Identify ways to align environmental compliance and sustainability goals with workplace safety and health.
  3. Apply practical ergonomic strategies that reduce musculoskeletal injury risk and improve employee well-being.
