The ASSP Philadelphia Chapter full-day Professional Development Safety Conference will be held on Thursday, June 6th, 2024, 7:30-5:30 in the greater Philadelphia area, at the Historic Drexelbrook in Drexel Hill, PA.
The mission of the conference is to provide a first-class event for occupational safety and health professionals to learn, network, and grow professionally. Our day will include breakfast, lunch and a networking event with door prizes!
Our educational tracts will focus on topics in Construction Safety, EH&S Leadership and Management; Training; Risk Management; Hazard Mitigation and MORE!
KEYNOTE
Sam Goodman, The HOP Nerd, LLC. Sam is the founder and lead practitioner of The Hop Nerd, LLC, he facilitates a Podcast on Human Organizational Performance, and Sam has written several great books, including “Safety Sucks” and “10 Ideas to Make Safety Suck Less.”
The HOP Nerd LLC is a consulting firm that helps companies operationalize Human and Organizational Performance (HOP), a holistic approach to improving the safety and effectiveness of work. As the founder and lead practitioner, Sam has over 20 years of experience in safety consulting, coaching, and training for various industries and organizations. Sam’s mission is to revolutionize the way we think about and practice safety!
EXHIBIT HALL
Our Exhibit Hall will feature more than 30 exhibitors to showcase products and services available to you and your organization here in the greater Philadelphia Region. Our focus is to connect you with locally and nationally available best-in-class providers of PPE, safety tech, training, consulting services, laboratory solutions and more!
Exhibitors will have live outdoor demonstrations of real-world applications in Fall Protection Systems & Rescue, and Confined Space Entry & Rescue.

The conference is open to anyone who is passionate about safety! Membership in the Philadelphia Chapters of ASSP or MACSC is not required.

ASSP will submit an application for CEU’s to be awarded for participation in the PDC upon finalization of our Speaker sessions the week of April 22, 2024. We will provide an update upon approval. It is our intent to provide CEUs for the event.
