Philadelphia Chapter ASSP/Philadelphia Section AIHA Joint Meeting

  •  February 16, 2023
     11:30 am - 2:00 pm

The Philadelphia Chapter ASSP and the Philadelphia Section AIHA will be holding their annual joint meeting on Thursday, February 16th, where we will have the opportunity to learn about using motion-capture technology for performing risk assessments in the workplace.

Topic Using Motion-Capture Technology for Risk Assessments: Case Studies and Best Practices

Are you utilizing sensorless, motion-capture technology to accurately assess jobs or tasks via risk assessments (RAs)?  Using artificial intelligence to complete RAs while analyzing force, posture, duration, and frequency, assists in a) identifying jobs or tasks based on quantifiable metrics that have a high probability for musculoskeletal injuries due to manual material handling (MMH), b) reducing the effect of the subjectivity of the evaluator.

Join us where we will discuss: 1) case studies and processed videos using sensorless motion-capture technology, 2) how to put together a return on investment (ROI) report for control measures, and 3) the benefits/ROI of implementing this technology as part of your ergonomics program.
